Steve Scully is a senior executive producer and political editor for C-SPAN, where he hosts "Washington Journal," a daily three-hour public affairs program. Since 1990, Steve has been responsible for planning and editing C-SPAN's campaign programming, including presidential and congressional elections. 

Steve will be conducting an informal Q & A session with the Rochester PRSA about what he has learned during his tenure in Washington and C-SPAN's approach to covering politics.  He plans to offer insights about the GOP presidential candidates that he's interviewed, the experience of covering the Obama Administration, and look ahead to the '12 race. Prior to joining C-SPAN, Steve covered politics and local government as a reporter in Erie, PA and at WHEC-TV here in Rochester. 

This event will be held on the RIT campus on May 20, 2011 at 12:30 pm and a lunch will be served. 

Directions on campus:

The event is in the Louise M. Slaughter Building (also referred to as CIMS). Parking is in T-LOT. Enter the building at the first door and follow the hallway to the main lobby. Take the stairs or the elevator up to the second floor to the meeting room.
