Get a Quickstart to PRSA Chapter/District Leadership on September 27

Have you thought about getting involved (or more involved) in PRSA on the chapter or district level? Are you unsure of the resources that are available to you? Do you want to do the best job you can as a chapter or district officer? Do you want to meet other chapter leaders from around the district and share best practices?

Then, the free Quickstart program being held on September 27 at 5:15 p.m., the night before the PRSA Northeast District conference at the RIT Inn & Conference Center, 5257 West Henrietta Road in West Henrietta, NY outside Rochester, is for you.

The engaging, informative and lively session will be moderated by J.B. McCampbell, immediate-past chair of the Northeast District, and Amy Cronin, 2011 Chair of PRSA Northeast District. Rosanna M. Fiske, current PRSA Chair and CEO, is also expected to attend the session before delivering a keynote address the following day at the Northeast District Conference.

The session will explore:

·         The resources available to chapter officers

·         Best practices for making your efforts as successful as possible

·         Tips for integrating social media to aid communications

·         Opportunities to network with other professionals

Following the session, a 6:30 p.m. dinner will be held on-site for networking opportunities. Attendees can pay by credit card at this link in advance, or on-site by cash or check only.

The cost for all dinner attendees is $25, with the exception of out-of-town conference speakers, who will be comped as guests of the PRSA Rochester Chapter.
