D’Angelo, chair of the public relations department at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, will present “AI & PR: Future-Proofing Your Career.” Drawing on three decades of experience in agency and corporate public relations roles, along with his leadership in PR education, D’Angelo will outline how the public relations industry is adopting generative AI, the extent of use and its applicability in different areas, and effective and ethical ways to use it—and not to use it. He will also share a summary of leading AI platforms, their uses, and training resources attendees can leverage to build skills and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving field.
