Come learn more about the PRSA Rochester Committees at this virtual interest fair! Hear from PRSA Rochester board members and volunteers on what committee participation involves, and get your questions answered. You do not have to be a member of PRSA to volunteer on a committee, it looks great on your resume, and you get to meet some of the best PR pros in town.
Committees include:

Programming: Responsible for organizing the chapter's workshops and educational sessions

PRisms: In charge of planning the annual PRism awards program and ceremony.

Diversity: Raises awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion within the public relations profession and on finding ways to increase diversity among PR practitioners. Also plans the annual "The Pitch" formerly known as the PR Apprentice Program for area college students.

APR: Provides mentorship and guidance to those seeking to get their APR or take the next steps in their careers and long-term professional development.

Young Professional (YP): Provides connection and collaboration for those early in their PR careers and welcomes the next generation through engagement with local students.

Membership: Works to grow and retain our chapter's membership through direct outreach, email campaigns and special events.

Communications: Creates and publishes content on the chapter's social media, website and emails.
