Webinar: Storytelling Techniques to Reach Your Stakeholders, A PRSA Webinar

Research has shown that nonprofit organizations that have taken time to develop a narrative around their missions and programs have seen positive results in terms of donations, volunteer recruitment and attracting new clients. Storytelling can easily be incorporated into traditional communication practices, as well as social media platforms.

In this webinar, Denise Bortree, associate professor at Penn State University, and Shonali Burke, president and CEO of Shonali Burke Consulting, Inc., will examine how nonprofits, associations and foundations can leverage the combined power of traditional and social media outlets to tell their stories. You’ll receive:

  • Information on current trends in nonprofit communication that brings together social media tactics and strategy with traditional media relations efforts in order to tell the organization's story.
  • Specific storytelling strategies by examining case studies that have used this approach.
  • Methods of storytelling measurement for social and traditional media outreach.
